Prices and conditions
– Single €10,- per month.
– Family: (Main participant + partner) €15,- per month.
– Children living at home 21 years or older €5,- per month.
– Children younger than 21 years FREE (if you are younger than 21 and only register as an individual, you pay the monthly amount of an adult).
Article 1: The registration form must be completed in Dutch and the main participant is responsible for the accuracy of all information.
Article 2: Costs and funeral services means:
a. Buried in the Netherlands:
o settling all formalities;
o perform the ritual washing (if the washing is carried out by third parties, the participant can appeal to the foundation for a contribution of a maximum of € 100);
o wrapping the remains in a white cloth (kaffan);
o performing the djanazah prayer;
o keeping the mortal remains (as short as possible);
o transporting the remains to the cemetery.
o The foundation will in the first instance make every effort to realize a grave with eternal burial. If this is not possible due to circumstances, the foundation will buy off the burial rights for a fixed period and always extend them so that the grave is not cleared.
o guaranteeing the Islamic guidelines for all the above processes.
b. Buried abroad:
o settling all formalities;
o perform the ritual washing (if the washing is carried out by third parties, the participant can appeal to the foundation for a contribution of a maximum of € 100);
o packing up the remains;
o keeping the mortal remains (as short as possible);
o transport to the airport;
o the repatriation of the body to the country of origin *, reimbursement of a maximum of 2 airline tickets ** for surviving relatives (economy class return valid for 1 month up to a maximum amount per ticket of € 350); 2 airline tickets for countries within a 3,200 km radius. 1 flight ticket for countries outside a 3,200 km radius.
o transport costs from the airport of the country of origin to the funeral destination;
o guaranteeing the Islamic guidelines for all the above processes.
* Repatriation to the country of origin is not possible if there is a case of war or another disaster that prevents repatriation.
** The fund is not liable for any delays caused by the airline.
Article 3: The participant is a Muslim and has legal residence status.
Article 4: The participant is required to provide correct and complete information. If it appears that the participant has provided incorrect information, this may have consequences for the coverage of costs. With the probability that the costs will not be reimbursed.
Article 5: The participant is obliged to pay the annual contribution.
a. If the participant pays the annual contribution in one go, participation is considered after the payment has been received in the bank account of the Foundation.
b. If the participant has the annual contribution per monthly collection made, then in principle participation takes place after the first payment has been collected.
Article 6: As long as the participant does not meet his / her payment obligations, the fund cannot be invoked in the event of an emergency.
a. If the participant pays the annual contribution in one go, he / she will receive a proof of participation via email after receiving the payment.
b. If the participant has the annual contribution per monthly collection made, he / she will receive a proof of participation via email after receiving the first collection. However, if the payment obligation cannot be met in one or more of the consecutive months, the right to participate will lapse until the payment obligation is met. The participant is obliged to ensure that the amount can be collected by the Foundation.
Article 7: Apart from the costs defined in Article 2, the fund cannot be invoked.
Article 8: The participant only and exclusively grants the foundation the power to execute all matters regarding his / her funeral in accordance with the Islamic guidelines and under the supervision of the Council of Scholars. No other party is authorized to interfere with the execution of the funeral and / or the financing of the funeral.
Article 9: If, for the purpose of the funeral process, the foundation deems cooperation necessary in the broadest sense of the word, the participant is obliged to fully cooperate with the foundation.
Article 10: In the event of a calamity, the participant is obliged to contact the foundation immediately within 3 hours from the moment the calamity arises via the emergency number.
Article 11: If the participant has already contacted third parties, such as another fund, insurance company and / or funeral company before receiving approval from the foundation, then the foundation is not responsible for any delays, disruptions, costs and / or other consequences .
Article 12: Changes to the family situation, personal data, address data, payment data, medical developments (diseases and the like) and / or any data that are relevant to the foundation must be notified to the foundation within 14 days. The foundation is not responsible for the consequences of the changes if they have not been passed on in time. Changes can be passed on to info@aurora-levant.nl
Article 13: Unregistered family members or other relatives cannot make any appeal to the fund. Neither can a registered participant appeal to the fund on behalf of a non-registered person.
Article 14: Burial in a country is only possible if the participant has the nationality of the country in question and / or can prove by means of an official document that he comes from the country in question and / or has permission from the authorities of the country in question .
Article 15: The participant is responsible for having an official travel document (eg Passport), death certificate / report and possibly marriage certificate. These documents must, if requested, be submitted. The foundation is not responsible for the consequences if documents are missing.
Article 16: The agreement can be terminated at any time by both the foundation and the participant. Upon termination, the participant is not entitled to a benefit as the annual personal contribution is used to support charities. Participant can terminate the agreement by sending an email to info@aurora-levant.nl
Article 17: The fund reserves an annual budget for the funeral of donors from the above categories. In the event of death, you can submit an application for funeral support, but the Foundation determines for each death case, taking into account the resources from this budget, how and whether the funeral will be carried out. No rights can be derived from the budget.
